Accessibility
This site has been validated against various W3C standards, as follows.
CSS
Where possible, all my sites are designed using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) in order to make them as easy to maintain as possible. This site complies with the W3C's CSS standards, and I endeavour to validate all my sites against these standards.
Wherever possible, I always work to the W3C's XHTML standards wherever possible. This site complies with all the directives currently in place for XHTML.
In addition, this site also complies with the newer XHTML 1.0 standards. This also demonstrates my preference for staying as up to date as possible.
Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
I aim to get my work to the Web Accessibility Initiave's grade AA wherever possible. This means that all content is accessible to all browsers - in older browsers ( i.e. pre-Version 6 browsers) it may not look quite as good, but the content will still all be available. US Section 508
The sites I create also comply with the United States' Section 508 Accessibility requirements. While it's not normally necessary for UK-based sites to comply with these requirements, I feel that it's better to be certain, and to ensure that any sites I create comply with as many accessibility requirements as possible.
